The story of CIG Heating and Air Conditioning
It began in 1962…
CIG Heating and Air Conditioning is a multi-generational business that was started in 1962 by Ed Jung as a close knit, family business that took pride in their work and service that they delivered. When the business began, the services offered were Commercial and Industrial heating services. CIG stands for Commercial Industrial Gas. After many years of reliable service, CIG Heating and Air Conditioning was purchased by Ed Jung’s son, Kevin Jung who continued to run the company with the same values and deliverance as his father did. CIG Heating and Air Conditioning began growing and becoming more known throughout the HVAC business. The company added more services to their list such as air conditioning, residential services, pumps, plumbing, and electrical and began partnering with Property Management companies for maintenance and service contracts.
New Ownership: Denis and Guy Picard
In 2020, two brothers who worked for CIG Heating and Air Conditioning for the past 10 years – Denis and Guy Picard, purchased the company from Kevin Jung who is, to this day, still very active with the daily operations of the company. Denis and Guy are hard working and dedicated individuals who are very knowledgeable and passionate in what they do, they are both very family oriented and strongly believe that excellent customer service and excellent quality of work go hand in hand. CIG Heating and Air Conditioning has since expanded their list of services to include Duct Cleaning and continue to establish more commercial and residential business relationships across the Capital, all while continuing the same values, pride and tight knit family feel that the company has had and delivered since the very beginning.
